As someone who works full time, and then uses his spare time with his little princess or working on this site, it can be hard to find the time to get the more tedious tasks done. This is the same for both bloggers and SME owners! You’re too busy building up your business and looking after clients that you can’t make time to sort things out for yourself!

Be it cleaning, marketing or even health, it can be sort hard to fit these things in. So, what can you do?

Well, when Bidvine was brought to my attention, my interest was piqued but I was unsure.. So, I took a look around it in order to give a review of the website for you guys, because in the end, if something like this can make things easier for us, that’s great. Isn’t it?

Usability

So, Bidvine is basically a website that allows you to request services, and then professionals will bid to provide that service for you. With that in mind, it is important that you can get around the site and make your request as quickly and easily as possible. Thankfully, Bidvine seem to have taken this into account with a clean website style and clear calls to action to let you know where to go and what to do.

Right away, you’re shown the header above, which clearly shows you a place to choose the service you want, and tells you that you need to put your postcode in. On top of this, if you scroll down passed the header, you are presented with a bunch of different service types that you can click on to request a professional.

So, it’s pretty damn intuitive and really quick easy to navigate.

Effectiveness

When it comes to the effectiveness of the site, I would say that refers to how easy it is to get the right professional in the right area. For example, there could be thousands of people who can give you Digital Marketing assistance, but you might want someone local, within just a 15 minute drive so that you can meet up in person.

In order to help you make sure that only the right professionals contact and bid on your job, Bidvine has this really nice mini-questionnaire that you can answer. It pops up on the screen once you start to look for professionals, and is nice and easy to complete.

In fact, it took me all of 3 minutes to fill out, so it’s also great in terms of the amount of time it takes. I mean, what’s 3 minutes to make sure you get the right person for the job! In the end, it just saves you time instead of you having to look around yourself, or even worse, having to do the job yourself when you simply don’t have time!

Registration

The next thing to discuss is the registration process. Once you’ve gone through the aforementioned questionnaire, you’ll be asked to register an account with Bidvine. This is so that the bids on your job can be communicated to you so that you can then choose the right one.

Now, as we’re looking for a way to find people without using too much of our time, a long and drawn out registration process would be really bad. Can you imagine how annoying it would be if you had to fill out a huge form?

Bidvine, luckily, doesn’t go down that route! Instead, at the end of the questionnaire, you’ll be greeted with the registration screen above. You can go down the “register via email” route if you want to, but in the interest of speed and easy of use, Bidvine have included a social registration system. In other words, you can register using your Facebook or Google account!

All you have to do is give permission to Bidvine to get your contact details from whichever of these account you decided to use. Again, this takes all of about 1 minute, so that was great to see!

Cost

Lastly, we need to talk about cost, because it’s always a really big thing to me! And it’s also a big thing to business owners and other bloggers! Well… I can’t really complain about Bidvine’s price! Why? It’s free to use!

So now I’m sure you’re asking “how do they make money?” Well, it’s the professionals looking to bid on your job that pay! They need to buy credits from Bidvine which they use to make their bids. So, as a user trying to find a professional, you don’t pay anything!

And That’s All Folks

All in all, if you’re like me (or many other SME owners or bloggers) and you need to be able to find a service but don’t have a lot of spare time, I would definitely recommend Bidvine! It’s easy to use, quick to register with, and the professional come to you, rather than you going to them!

On top of that, you get to choose who (if any) of these professional you decide to work with!

Have you used Bidvine before? Do you have trouble finding people to help you out? Let me know in the comments below!
