As you have probably realised if you’ve read my previous posts about e-cigarettes, I quit smoking by moving on to vaping. But I only managed to do that by finding the right e-cigarette kit, and the right liquid to use in it. Thus, I am rather picky when it comes to the e-liquid I use.
It has to be of a high quality and absolutely needs to give me enough nicotine (I’m down to 6mg now).
If there’s one genre of video games that I have always loved, it would be Survival Horror. But what exactly is this genre? What makes it different from just any other horror genre?
Well, the basic rules of Survival Horror are that your character is thrown into a world of horrific nightmares and/or murderous enemies without the tools necessary to truly defend themselves.
Have you ever been sitting around with friends or colleagues and starting talking about life at home? Has that conversation then devolved into them saying how busy their lives are and they just need to rest when they get back to their sanctuary?
It happens a lot to me, and I’m sure it does to you guys too.
And then you hear it; the phrase that just makes your brain twitch… You joyfully join in the conversation about feeling tired, and they turn and say “it must be nice to just sit with your kid and have a break every night”… Or something along those lines…
Nostalgia – it’s a wonderful thing, isn’t it? That feeling of reliving some of your favourite moments or events can be really powerful! However, often times you are looking back on these things through rose-tinted glasses, and when you actually try to relive them, you’re let down.
For example; in my head the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy looked the same as the new N-Sane Trilogy remake does. Of course, that’s just not the case. This is why remakes are so popular, when done right (I’m looking at you, Space Invaders Remake).
My teenage years were been 2000 and 2009, so you can imagine that Linkin Park was a huge part of my music collection at that time. But on top of that, they were an inspiration to me and helped me through the bullying and depression I felt during those years.
Their lyrics and music were (and are) a huge part of my life… So yesterday, when the news about Chester Bennington’s death came out, I was devasted. I had no idea what to say… My thoughts are still with his family and friends. It’s so sad.
This is even more true when you consider that my 2-year-old princess already adores their music. His voice and their instruments are something that she loves. And now, I’ll never be able to take her to see them when she’s older. But at least she and I will be able to rock out to them for years to come.
A post shared in the Dad Network Closed Facebook Group today reminded me of some of the experiences that I’ve had as a Dad – ones created by other parents who have a stigma against Dads and a preconception of what family life is supposed to be like. You...

For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been vaping for almost 4 years now. I started with one of those disposable plastic e-cigarettes you can buy in the petrol station, before moving on the Aspire K3 and then the Nautilus Mini, before finally settling on the Brit One Mini tank with a Cool Fire IV battery.
My OH, on the other hand, had some real difficulty making the move from real cigarettes to e-cigarettes. She finally managed to cut down using her Brit One Mini, but it wasn’t until E-Cigarette Direct were kind enough to let us try out the new Halo Tank 02 starter kit that she really made the move to vaping.
That’s why, today, I’ll be going over the Halo Tank 02, letting you guys know its pros and cons… And I’ve also got a full Halo Tank 02 Kit to give away! So read on, see what you think, and enter the giveaway for a chance to one one of these kits yourself!
